Apple Pie, Blueberry Pie, or Pumpkin Pie?

Finally! I have found some time in my hectic (new house buyer) life to make a product and create a blog post. We are still going through the house buying process and hope to be ready for settlement soon! Meanwhile I have been very emotional and tired at work and in a horrible mood! So, I had my kiddies complete this fact and opinion activity on Owls! And y'all should know that I absolutely LOVE owls! :)

I had them listen to the video on National Geographic about Owls and record facts. Then they added their opinions. They turned out great!

I have decided that instead of doing a feast in school for Thanksgiving, I am going to do a pie tasting! I am going to pick up 7 different kinds of pies from the grocery store and use my new product

Head over to my store to grab it!

What are you doing to celebrate Thanksgiving with your students? I would love to hear new ideas!

We bought a house! and NEW!!!***Gingerbread K-3 Fun Pack!

So my fiance and I decided to start looking for a house a few weeks ago! We looked at many houses starting at a low price range and then started raising the amount because the house were much nicer. I now believe everyone that says that house hunting is exhausting! But...the good news is we found one!
We bid on it three times and they finally approved! So now we are going through all of the inspections and paperwork! I am so excited.....more to come on the house including pictures! :)

Despite my crazy busy life....I had time to make a quick new product!!!!

What an easy mini unit to use when the crazy holiday time comes! (Ugh.....its coming so fast!)
Click on the picture to get it in my store!

Enjoy! :)

Literacy Night, Halloween and Love Letters

Last night my school held their second annual "Literacy Night." Our theme was "Around the World." The students that bought the tickets got a passport and had to make their way to as many countries as they could in an hour. I made the passport and each continent to hang by the doors and they turned out fabulous! My country was Europe.....so I decided to do some Medieval Times activities. I had tables set up with decorations and medieval music playing and a bin of "Medieval Times" related books. The students could choose to make a king or queen's crown or a knights shield. They loved it! I think the night was a success....here are some pictures! :)

Here is a lovely love letter I received yesterday......Makes you feel great! :)

And here are out Halloween costumes this year...Sorry for the delay.

Enjoy!
